I've gone for PS3 as well. Yes they are slightly more expensive and currently I'd say the 360 had the edge in terms of number of games, but the PS3 has one major advantage and that's Blu-ray. Not only in terms of being able to play movies (the PS3 is currently the only Blu-ray player I think that is 100% furure proof as Sony are able to update the firmwear over the net) but also in terms of games. The 360 has a normal DVD drive, so can only use standard DVD's (capacity 4.7GB, or double that for dual layer). However the Blu-ray drive can handle 50GB odd. Imagine how much game data you could fit on one of those? I think the take-up of the PS3 has been slow but I really expect the software developers to start making use of the PS3's Blu-ray and also it's Cell processor.
