I would sway to the PS3 myself, I don't own either lol, but have played both often on my friends computers, I am also in the "360" or "PS3" situation lol, I think if you were going for price obviously go for the Xbox 360, but for long term, i'd go PS3 myself. I am awaiting the rumours of a PS3 slim to come to reality before I purchase one though
