I use my Wavebird as I prefer it over the classic for MK64. So it definitly works.
I've heard that there is sometimes trouble with 3rd party wireless controllers. (not 3rd party wired, I also have one of them and they do work.)
Other than that I can't think of anything except the usual, check it's plugged in correctly and works on something else.
Also, I can't update the first post, I think it has something to do with moderators moving things, it takes away the users rights or something.
