There's loads that just disapear over time. Take Red Daze for instance...He was a one off who actually returned...I think to be honest though, it's just a cycle of many leisurely electronic things. I remember I used to play an Mmorpg all the time - and over time I slowly faded...I don't really think it's sad - it's just life.
I feel I'm slowly fading from this forum... Many people say 'it's changed' etc...But really it's just yourself losing the passion, getting used to the same style topic day after day - don't worry though I'm not going for ages yet...
Another point I'd like to make is how the poster (in most cases) has aroun 5+ a day, then just goes, whereas usually the longest members of forums are the 1 posters a day - who use it rationally.
So to sum up - I think it's just a cycle that e-chat goes through...People change and get bored. Never to return again usually, with no reason whatsoever...
P.s the ideal situation would be a real life reunion years later!
