Now, if you've been very very careful in your stripdowns, as there are no seals to break, it is
theoretically possible to have no visible signs anywhere that it's been taken apart in the first place...in which case, ninty will be none the wiser and will repair under warranty (how would they know you've opened it up?....it will look as good as new
in this case).

may not be able to do such a careful job, generally for most people you're quite right, and as I also clearly mentioned:
